Open-Mic: The Nod: Navigating Career Advancement

*This is a recorded event. Those who speak "on stage" will be featured in the resulting WorkCookie Podcast and WorkCookie Video Podcast episodes.

Description: Career advancement doesn't always begin with a promotion.

Sometimes it starts with an invitation, a recommendation, a stretch assignment, or someone deciding that you're ready for more.

This event explores career advancement and the formal and informal factors that influence who gets access to opportunities, visibility, sponsorship, development, and leadership pathways. Whether you're an I/O professional, a student, or someone interested in the field, this open discussion will explore the latest developments, ideas, and solutions in I/O Psychology. And hopefully, we'll get way off track to break things up a bit! Join us as we engage with experts and the I/O community to shape the future of the field through open dialogue and collaboration.
