Torrey Davis, RCR, CCWS, MS
Industrial/Organizational Psychology & HR Consultant
Torrey Davis holds a Master's of Science degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology; and is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Philosophy in Psychology from Grand Canyon University with an emphasis in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. Collectively, Mr. Davis has 10-years of experience in the field of HR. During his four and half years within the HR Department at the University of South Carolina (USC – Columbia), he performed a needs assessment that revamped the training and development department for all six USC locations.
His experience includes managing complex organizational projects, leadership and engagement in the organizational setting, process improvement, and refining corporate culture. His ability to both work and effectively communicate with senior leadership has resulted in policy and organizational culture changes. With this, Mr. Davis has spearheaded new initiatives and ensured organizations are accurately measuring outcomes to determine the success of their programs and initiatives.
Mr. Davis also aids organizations with creating efficient onboarding processes, communicating their benefits plans, and maintaining a healthy workforce. Mr. Davis is knowledgeable about I/O and HR in the nuclear field, manufacturing industry, K-12, and higher education. He is a board chair/president of the Public Health Innovations in Research and Development (PHIRE) – the Columbia, SC branch - that seeks to bring health solutions in the area of disease management to the community. Mr. Davis is also an Organizational Behavior Advisor for Enlyte, a technology company that supports mental health needs such as addiction, PTSD, stress, and more, where he facilitates B2B interactions.
Mr. Davis recognizes the effect policies and leadership within organizational structures have on economic opportunities within the community, which allows him to provide a foundation that supports programs to address organizational needs of any kind. His focus is on improving the overall health of individuals and the organization through effective initiatives. He is also a Certified Corporate Wellness Specialist with Global Healthcare Resources, where he was a panelist discussing mental and behavioral health from an employer perspective.
Mr. Davis has been an active community member volunteering for College Night and Science
Education Enrichment Day (S.E.E.D) which assist children within the local community. In
addition, he mentors at the local elementary schools in Aiken County under the Watch D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) program. He is also an active member in:
